Newcastle United striker Yoshinori Muto is due back at the club for pre-season training.
The Japan international is to head back to Newcastle, after spending the 2020/21 season on loan at Eibar.

It was a poor spell for him over in Spain, which saw him score jut three goals in 28 games.
It is thought Newcastle are keen to offload the player this summer, but according to the Chronicle, they are yet to find a buyer.
Muto joined Newcastle in the summer of 2019 for a fee reported to be worth £9.6 million.
That was after impressing at the 2018 World Cup.

It has been a torrid time for him since completing the transfer, and he’s only played 28 games for Newcastle so far. His last Magpies appearance was a six-minute cameo against Manchester City in July 2020.
Newcastle know they’ll have to take a financial hit on him. But it is seemingly proving a real struggle to find anyone interested right now.
Ideally, he’ll be sold as soon as possible given his £54,000-a-week wages.
A product of poor recruitment
It’s hardly surprising to see such little interest in Muto.
He was unable to cut the mustard in the Premier League, and he’s now come off the back of a poor campaign with Eibar.

Those supposed £54,000-a-week wages are going to make it very difficult for Newcastle to shift him
The club will perhaps hope the player is so keen for a fresh start he reduces his demands to potential suitors.
