According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool want to send Harry Wilson out on loan to another Premier League club next season.

The winger is currently at Derby County on loan, impressing for the Rams in the Championship. He’s scored a collection of stunning goals, with his most notable strike coming in the League Cup against Manchester United.

The report states that the Reds don’t plan on cashing in on Wilson, but would like him to go out on loan, this time to a top flight side.

Newcastle must take note of this.

Wilson would be a great loan option

If Rafa Benitez stays at Newcastle, he’ll be desperate to boost his attacking ranks over the summer.

Miguel Almiron has helped transform the side, but he is just one piece of the jigsaw.

We’ll likely be without Kenedy next season, with the Brazilian doing nothing to suggest a permanent move or another temporary switch should be on the cards.

And if money is tight once again, Benitez may have to dip into the loan market. Wilson is a brilliant option, and surely a very attainable one.

With Benitez’s connections at Anfield, we might have an edge over other teams.

His dribbling ability and pace, combined with wicked set pieces, would make Wilson a hit at Newcastle.

While he hasn’t had a chance in the Premier League yet, he seems to be a player who has a future at Liverpool. Therefore, he would relish the chance to hone his craft in front of 52,000 fans every other week.

There will be a lot of clubs interested in taking Wilson on loan, and Newcastle must make sure they’re at the front of the queue.
