It’s been a rough start to the season for Ayoze Perez.
The Spaniard was Newcastle’s top scorer last season, finding the net 10 times. This season though, things haven’t been as easy.
Perez has been a pretty much constant figure in Rafa Benitez’s side, but has never justified his position.
The forward has struggled to influence games, and was eventually dropped by the gaffer.

But despite his form, the Magpies shouldn’t look to dispose of the former Tenerife man.
