According to Sky Sports, Newcastle are interested in signing Liverpool’s Harry Wilson.
The Welsh international is currently on loan at Derby County, where he has played a key role in guiding them to the playoff final.
The Rams take on Aston Villa in the final on Monday, but Wilson might be playing Premier League football next season regardless of the result.

Sky Sports claim that multiple top flight teams are interested in the attacker, including the Magpies. The other clubs named are Brighton and Southampton.
The report states that Liverpool want up to £25million for him, which would make him Newcastle’s new record signing.
Wilson has had an excellent season in the Championship, scoring 16 goals, including some real stunners.

He’s a player who could really make a difference at Newcastle and fits the profile of a Mike Ashley signing, even if he is on the expensive side.
If Derby go up, they’ll no doubt want to keep the 22-year-old who has been integral to their promotion charge alongside Mason Mount.
The Magpies will have a fight on their hands if they want to sign Wilson, as Sky Sports claim that Crystal Palace could also be interested if Wilfried Zaha leaves the club.
His price tag does seem a little high. Sure, you have to pay a premium for young British players these days, but £25million seems over the top.
Then again, Leicester paid a similar fee for James Maddison last summer and look how well he’s done. Despite the big fee, some Newcastle fans want to see Wilson in black and white next season.

Was talking about Harry Wilson last week. If we get Benitez sorted and money is available then Wilson is the kind of player that ticks all of the boxes. He’s some talent.
