Some Newcastle United fans have been reacting to some new comments made by Miguel Almiron.
The midfielder has been speaking to Paraguayan media about his future, admitting that he would like to play for a team that fights more.
Recently, there appears to have been a concerning lack of effort from some Magpies players under the management of Steve Bruce.

Almiron has now prompted fresh concerns about his future at St. James’ Park, telling ABC Cardinal on Friday: “I would like to play in a team that fights more.
“Here I am happy and I feel comfortable.”
It comes just over a year after Almiron’s agent claimed his client had interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan, and that Almiron would have left Newcastle last summer had it not been for the pandemic (via Chronicle).
The star has been with the club since January 2019 following a reported £20 million from Atlanta United (ESPN).

He has a contract with the club until 2024 according to Transfermarkt, but there is a growing feeling that he will not see that out in its entirety.
