Newcastle United fans have even more reason to love Isaac Hayden.
The midfielder has been coming in for praise for making an absolutely brilliant gesture.
A Toon supporter had asked Hayden to share a tweet regarding a Hadrian’s Wall hike he is doing with his brother.
Lee Daglish sadly lost his wife Carolyn On Christmas Eve last year, and is looking to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The heartbreaking story can be read over on the Just Giving page the brothers have set up.
The pair are set to hike 85 miles with full pack on back, and will sleep in a tent for three nights.
Generous Hayden actually donated £1000 (plus £250 Gift Aid) to their cause, writing ‘Incredibly sorry to hear about this Mick. I wish you all the best with your hike. You and your girls are in my prayers, stay strong’.

It is just another reason to respect and admire Hayden, who is continually spoken highly of by all at Newcastle.
The man always gives his all on the pitch and by many accounts, is a brilliant human being off it.
On social media, news of Hayden’s gesture has reached supporters, many of whom are blown away by his act of kindness:
