Newcastle and Sean Longstaff have received a crushing blow.
After coming off due to injury against West Ham, the club have confirmed that Longstaff is likely to miss the rest of the season.

It is a knee ligament injury that has derailed Longstaff’s campaign, as he now prepares for a spell on the sidelines.
This is devastating for the youngster, who had become a first-team regular in 2019. Injury handed him his opportunity, and Longstaff took it with both hands.
His performances alongside Isaac Hayden got everyone talking, from fans to pundits. The icing on the cake was a St James’ Park goal in the 2-0 victory over Burnley.
