The pair are on the fringes at Anfield, while Newcastle are still lacking some fire power up front.
Origi and Solanke could both leave Liverpool in January, with the Reds keen to move the former on permanently.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
They likely won’t want to sell Solanke though, as the striker is only 21-years-old.
And because of Newcastle’s dealings in the summer, they can’t bring any domestic-based players in on loan. The Magpies already have Kenedy and Salomon Rondon on temporary deals, therefore a deal for Origi or Solanke would have to be a permanent one.

And in worse news, Liverpool reportedly want £20 million for their Belgian striker, which would make him Newcastle’s most expensive ever signing.
What do Newcastle fans make of the links with Origi and Solanke?
origi would be better choice as hes a ready made forward solanke might take soem bedding

Solanke & Origi are decent players I for one would take both at a heart beat.. I do agree we need better players to come up through the ranks. #NUFC whether we do actually go in for them from #LFC s a different matter. And also this form the @ChronicleLive so is probably rubbish

Solanke won’t score goals in Prem

Would have to be a permanent transfer so it’s not gonna happen!

Links with the Liverpool pair received a fairly mixed response, but the need to do a permanent deal means there’s pretty much no chance of either Origi or Solanke wearing black and white come January.
Hopefully Rondon will be fit and firing by then, otherwise things could look very desperate.
