Currently, no team has conceded more in the Premier League than the Magpies, who are level with Norwich City (27).

The Chronicle say Dummett is eager to overcome his injury and impress new boss Eddie Howe. Supposedly, he is now only a few weeks away.

He’ll be hoping to come in and make an impact during what will be a very hectic period.
