Newcastle United supporters have been reacting to news that Graeme Jones has introduced a five-day training programme at the club.
According to the Chronicle, the Magpies’ interim boss is getting the players in every day this week ahead of the game with Chelsea.

Newcastle remain winless this season.
The club have collected just four points from their first nine matches.
Newcastle’s new owners sacked Steve Bruce last week, with Jones taking the team on an interim basis.
He oversaw a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend.
It’s up to Jones to try and provide a basis for the new manager to build on when he comes in.

The Chronicle say the 51-year-old is stepping things up this week.
Apparently, he has introduced a five-day schedule ahead of the game against the league-leading Blues on Saturday.
Under Bruce, the players would often have days off even if the latest result and performance had not been good.
Saturday could very well be Newcastle’s hardest game of the season.
It is, therefore, entirely appropriate that extra work is undertaken ahead of the clash.

Newcastle fans react
On social media, some Toon fans have been reacting to the report about Jones getting the players in every day.
A number of people reacted sarcastically, suggesting that this really should be the norm:
