Some Newcastle fans have been reacting to a brilliant goal scored by former loanee Kenedy for Granada last night.

The Brazilian was in La Liga action last night against Villarreal, and hit a truly stunning goal for the visitors.

He then beat another player as he worked his way into a more central position, before unleashing a fearsome drive into the top left corner.

He didn’t do an awful lot after coming on as a substitute, but his goal was the outstanding moment from the game.

Kenedy is with the Spanish outfit until the end of the 2020/21 season, where he will then return to parent club Chelsea.

The 24-year-old has been with the Blues since 2015 after joining from Fluminense.

Kenedy had two loan spells with Newcastle, joining first in January 2018. He made a real impression at St. James’ Park, and returned for a second spell for the 2018/19 season.

He didn’t quite hit the heights of his first stint, but fans really took to him as a player capable of producing magic.

On social media, some Magpies fans have been reacting to Kenedy’s wonderful goal against Villarreal, and some have expressed their regret that he is no longer a Newcastle player:
