Newcastle United fans have praised Stan Collymore for his comments on Steve Bruce and Mike Ashley yesterday.
The current situation at St. James’ Park is becoming more and more of a talking point the closer the club slips to the relegation zone.
At the moment, just two points separate Newcastle and Fulham in the table.

Bruce has overseen just two wins in the last 20 games, and the brand of football that’s been on show has been painful.
Now Collymore has waded in, penning a strongly-worded column in the Mirror yesterday.
He said: “Steve Bruce and Mike Ashley are the worst double act in Premier League history.

“They are driving Newcastle down to the Championship, and neither seem to care.
“He (Bruce) exudes misery… talking up average opposition, moaning about injuries, and talking in meaningless generalities.. while rival coaches give insightful detailed answers.
“With Ashley it feels personal. Like he wants to mess the club around because he feels personally wounded because of the stick he’s taken.”
The tone of the column is bang on.

It’s difficult to argue with anything Collymore says in the piece, as he takes aim at the brand of football and the manager never taking responsibility for things.
On social media plenty of Magpies fans resonated, and praised Collymore for telling it like it is:
