Newcastle United came from behind to get a well-deserved point against Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park.

The Magpies gave a considerably better performance than against Brighton, and Fulham’s defeat to Aston Villa means there’s now a three-point gap between the two teams in the table.

Newcastle went ahead through Joelinton, but were immediately pegged back by a Harry Kane brace.

Fans feared a drubbing, but Newcastle showed heart and fight in the second-half.

It was Joe Willock who grabbed the headlines in the end.

The goal has potential to be huge come the end of the season, and hopefully the team will take confidence from the performance and result.

On social media, fans were loving a tweet from Allan Saint-Maximin, who reacted to Willock’s equalising goal.
