Someone else who took great joy in seeing Sunderland fail was Tim Krul, who tweeted a Leonardo Di Caprio meme that had the caption ‘Checking how Mackems are doing in the play-offs’.
The goalkeeper was a popular figure during his time at St. James’ Park, and fans loved his teasing.
