Newcastle’s attacking options continue to dwindle as Joselu completes a permanent move back to Spain.
The striker’s move to Alaves was confirmed on Monday afternoon after weeks of speculation. Joselu seemed set for the exit for a while, but the deal was held up for some reason.

With Steve Bruce set to take over at Newcastle, he will inherit a squad with just one striker, Dwight Gayle. And he’s also been linked with an exit after spending last season in the Championship with West Brom.
Joselu’s two years at Newcastle were far from a hit. While he certainly worked hard and seemed like a nice guy, his ability left a lot to be desired. The 29-year-old managed just seven goals for the Magpies in all competitions.

But his departure is certainly an issue when the squad continues to get smaller and smaller as the Premier League gets closer and closer.
There have been reports of a move for Brazilian striker Joelinton, who will hopefully bring more to the table than Joselu.
As fans wish the striker all the best for the future, a lot are wondering the same thing: What does this mean for Mourinho?
