With the Toon beating West Ham United yesterday, the Cottagers simply had to beat the Gunners today.

Scott Parker’s side actually took the lead through Josh Maja via the penalty spot.
It looked as though they would see the game out, but Eddie Nketiah struck in the final minute of injury time to break Fulham hearts.
The 1-1 draw means Fulham now have 27 points from 33 games played, and Newcastle have 35 points from 32 played.
The dropping of two points right at the death is absolutely massive for Newcastle.

It now makes an escape from trouble for Parker’s men very difficult.
