The Premier League fixtures for 2019/2020 were officially released this morning, and Newcastle United fans have been informed they can now renew their season tickets.
Many season ticket holders have received emails from the club this morning, and plenty have rushed to renew.
But for some, the timing couldn’t be worse.

With key players on they’re way out, Rafa Benitez’s future in doubt and a rumoured takeover in the works, it’s unsurprising many supporters don’t want to commit.
To make things worse, Newcastle United have stayed fairly quiet on all three of the aforementioned problems.
But as soon season tickets are up for sale, communication no longer seems to be a problem.

Naturally, this has left supporters angry and frustrated.

As it stands, Newcastle are still at risk of starting the season without Salomon Rondon, Isaac Hayden or Ayoze Perez.
Rafa Benitez is merely weeks away from his current contract expiring.
And the club continues to take a no comment stance on the rumoured takeover from the Bin Zayed group.
To top things off, Newcastle season ticket prices have increased by around 5% across the board.
The deadline for season ticket renewals is the 4th of July, and it’s likely most fans will now play the waiting game.
It will be interesting to see how much season ticket renewals will be effected by the current situation.
But until the club is more forthcoming, fans will continue to be angry, and they’ve reacted very badly to this season ticket news.
