The Premier League is approaching.
This weekend, Newcastle United will host Aston Villa at St James’ Park as Eddie Howe prepares for another massive campaign in charge of the club.
It is a difficult start for the Magpies, with Unai Emery’s side having beaten them 3-0 at Villa Park in April.
After so much attention devoted to transfers over the last few months, focus will soon switch to who Howe selects to the Villa game.
Lewis Miley and Elliot Anderson were two of the stars of pre-season and it seems the former is desperate to make an impact.

Indeed, the 20-year-old looks primed for a big season.
While the academy graduate was part of the first-team set-up last time out, Anderson made only three Premier League starts.
Now, Anderson is eyeing his chance from the off.
Speaking to the Chronicle, he said: “I’d love to start the season (Premier League). Every player wants to but it is such a good team at the minute.
“As long as the team is doing well everybody is happy for the team. But if I can get in there it will be great.”
This could be the best chance for Anderson
Anderson might not have a better chance than Saturday.
Joe Willock and Sean Longstaff have both been injured during pre-season. Sandro Tonali’s performance against Villa in the US, meanwhile, was said to have raised caution amongst members of the Newcastle staff, so Howe hardly has all of his options available to him at once.
With Anderson having starred in pre-season, the door looks to be opening up.
