An international teammate of Miguel Almiron has claimed the Newcastle United attacker has told him he is fine with regards to his injury.
The 27-year-old limped out of last month’s contest against Wolverhampton Wanderers at St. James’ Park.

It transpired that the ace had sustained a hamstring injury, and Newcastle put out a statement informing supporters that he, and Allan Saint-Maximin, would be returning in April.
So far, Almiron has missed games against West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa, both of which ended in draws.
Fans are anxious about Almiron’s return, knowing his form could be absolutely crucial to the club’s Premier League survival bid.

It seems things are going well with his recovery though, with Paraguay goalkeeper Anthony Silva feeling fears over his teammate’s condition are misplaced.
He told Versus Radio in his homeland (via Chronicle Live): “I spoke with Miguel and it is not as much as they say about his injury. He told me that he is fine.”
His words come after Bruce had claimed Almiron was progressing ‘very, very nicely’.
Almiron set for Brighton?
Silva’s comments will now fuel the fire regarding Almiron’s potential involvement this weekend.

Newcastle face Brighton on Saturday night in what is undoubtedly the biggest game of the season so far.
Regardless of how Fulham get on against Leeds United on Friday, the Magpies seriously need three points against the Seagulls and to get some momentum going.
Hopefully, Almiron is in with an outside chance of playing.
