Newcastle United finally grabbed their first win of the season yesterday against Burnley – and Mehrdad Ghodoussi has given his reaction on Twitter.
The Magpies ran out 1-0 winners against the Clarets, in a game dubbed ‘must-win’ by many.
It was Callum Wilson who struck for the hosts.

Wilson did well to convert, after Nick Pope had fumbled Joe Willock’s cross.
The result has liften Newcastle off the bottom of the table for now.
The club are now level on points (10) with Norwich City, who face Tottenham Hotspur today.
Winning yesterday was absolutely vital for Newcastle.
The club now face Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United in their next four matches in the Premier League.
It is a daunting run, but new manager Eddie Howe has come in and seemingly given the players huge belief, and the incredible support will mean there’s always a chance for Newcastle to get something.
Lots of Newcastle figures were elated with yesterday’s win.
One such figure included Amanda Staveley’s husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi, who wrote on Twitter: “Toon Toon. Thank you for the incredible support today. The boys played their hearts out #NUFC #eddiehowesblackandwhitearmy.”
Ghodoussi, along with Staveley, has been a regular attendee at games since the takeover went through back in October.
Huge psychological boost for the Newcastle players
It was paramount for Newcastle to win yesterday.
After failing to beat Norwich (under difficult circumstances), not beating the Clarets would have been a disaster.

But they got the job done ahead of a very tough run of games.
There can, at least, be a bit more belief and hope now heading into this challenging period.
