Newcastle United finally completed the signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea this week and the youngster has now added an image of himself in the famous black and white to his instagram.

Lifelong Newcastle fan Lewis Hall has realised a dream and signed for his beloved club and judging by the signing day media the only man happier than him was his dad, Colin – The man that instilled the Newcastle way into his sons as an exiled Geordie living down south.

Now Lewis Hall has issued his social media war cry posting a series of images from his press release with a caption of “Let’s goooo”.

Fabrizio Romano and Bobby Clark were among those to comment

Among the first to comment was transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano who wished the 18-year-old good luck, but the one that stood out was the comment from his new teammate, Lewis Miley who said “Love it, bro”.

There was even a comment from “the one that got away” Bobby Clark who was sold to Liverpool by Mike Ashley in one of his last acts at the club, something which angered fans as they saw him as a huge prospect for the future.

It looks like Hall and Miley have already clicked off the pitch, hopefully it won’t be long before we see them clicking on the pitch too.

Hall and Miley may line up in Newcastle’s midfield one day

Hall actually prefers to play in midfield despite being signed as a left-back, so there could even be a future where we see Miley and Hall side-by-side in the middle of the park for Newcastle.

Newcastle fans could get their first glimpse of Hall on Sunday when Liverpool come to St James’ Park. Whether Eddie Howe feels he’s ready for a spot on the bench only he knows, but I doubt he will be thrust into the starting line up straight away, especially in such a huge game.

That’s not to say that Hall isn’t good enough to go straight into Newcastle’s first team, even at 18 he’s shown he has the quality to perform at the top level.
