Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier are part of the England squad at the World Cup, and the Manchester City defender has heaped praised on Newcastle’s number two.
The duo will hope to bring football home in Qatar, and Trippier will do it on the back of playing the best football of his career.
The 32-year-old has been exceptional for Newcastle ever since his £12million move, and has been particularly brilliant this season.
He is part of one of the Premier League’s best defences, while he has also played his part in the final third. The defender’s crossing ability from out wide or dead ball situations is sensational, and a huge attribute to his game.
And it is something that Walker is very jealous of.

Walker on Trippier’s delivery
The Premier League winner has been interviewed for England’s official website. Walker was asked what piece of skill would he take from one of his England teammates if he could.
“Trent, Trippier or Ward-Prowse’s delivery of a football,” he said.
“They are unique players in that they can put it on a six-pence. Nine times out of ten it leads to a goal.”
Trippier is a crossing wizard
Trippier is named alongside some elite players in terms of delivery. Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Ward-Prowse are considered two of the best in the Premier League.
But Walker holds Trippier in the same regard, and we have seen just how good he is at crossing a ball this season.
The right-back’s delivery has been sensational, and created so many chances for Eddie Howe’s side. Trippier has got three Premier League assists to his name this season, setting up Bruno Guimaraes, Callum Wilson and Joe Willock.
The way Trippier can whip a ball into a dangerous area is sensational, and it so often leads to opportunities as Walker says.
However, it will be a while before we see him do it in a Newcastle shirt again. For now, his focus is on England and the World Cup, where he will hope his delivery can take the Three Lions to glory.
