Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has posted on Instagram, as he steps up his recovery from a metatarsal injury.
The England international has been missing now for almost two months.

He sustained his injury in the 1-0 victory over Aston Villa back in February, in which he scored the winning goal.
Trippier had been playing superbly well prior to that, and it was a crushing blow to lose him.
Newcastle have done fairly OK in his absence so far.
That said, standards have just started to slip a bit and the Magpies now find themselves on a three-game losing streak.
Fans are itching for Trippier to return to the starting XI.
He improves the team significantly, and his leadership is already something that has become invaluable.
Recently, there have been reports that the player has suffered a setback in his recovery.
The Daily Mail said he had a scan last Friday and although the results were encouraging, ‘the healing process was not going as quickly as hoped’.
Trippier actually posted on Instagram yesterday to give a little update himself.
He stopped short of saying when exactly he’ll be back. But he did say ‘Working hard on my rehab, be back soon’.
Newcastle need Kieran Trippier back to avoid relegation dogfight, as star continues recovery from injury
Newcastle could really do with Trippier back ASAP. His absence severely told against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
He is seemingly a few weeks away at least, and that is frustrating for Eddie Howe.
Trippier has already established himself as a hugely important player for the Magpies.

His quality and leadership are in no doubt.
Hopefully he can take to the field again before the season is out. Ideally, he’ll return for the final few games and help to ensure the club’s safety if it is not already confirmed by that point.
