There’s a strong belief that Joelinton could be in line to make his Brazil debut tomorrow and it could be even better than that for the Newcastle United man.

Journalist Jacque Talbot has said that he’s heard that Joelinton could be in line to start for Brazil as they take on Guinea tomorrow night.

Joelinton has been impressive in training this week and Ramon Menezes has kept a close eye on him.

Joelinton is in contention for a start tomorrow night

Now according to a tweet from Jac Talbot, Joelinton will start tomorrow night so Menezes can assess him properly, saying: “Led to believe Joelinton will start for Brazil against Guinea tomorrow. Ramon Menezes wants to assess the Newcastle player next to Casemiro and Lucas Paquetá.”

It’s unfortunate that Menezes isn’t looking to take advantage of the incredible relationship Joelinton has with his Newcastle teammate Bruno Guimaraes at international level, although maybe at some point the two may share the pitch.

That’s still a very strong all-Premier League midfield, with Bruno’s best mate, Paqueta in the side alongside Joelinton after both were pictured together at Bruno’s wedding recently.

I’m sure Newcastle fans will be keeping eye on the game tomorrow night

I’m sure I’ll not be the only Newcastle fan keeping an eye on this game tomorrow night – kick off is 8:30pm.

Joelinton was very much in the running for Newcastle’s player of the season again this year after having won it last year. There’s nobody who deserves this opportunity more than Joey.

Fingers crossed he can make an impact on the game and cement his place in the Brazilian international set up.
