Newcastle United take on Everton in their next Premier League match – and it looks like Chris Wood will be available.
The Magpies are looking to record back-to-back victories, having beat Leeds United 1-0 last time out.

Next Tuesday’s match is obviously the first since the closure of the January transfer window, and fans are buzzing to see some, if not, all of the club’s new signings in action.
It could well be that Bruno Guimaraes, Dan Burn and Matt Targett all make their debuts.
Everton have been really struggling of late, but they now have a new manager in Frank Lampard.
They also have a couple of new additions in Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli. They are two players who have actually both been linked with Newcastle in recent weeks.
There has been a bit of concern that Magpies striker Wood might not be available for the game.
He is currently on duty with New Zealand, and there has been a Covid outbreak in their camp.
The Kiwis had been due to face Uzbekistan in Dubai on Tuesday. But the match was postponed due to a number of positive tests.
But fans worrying about whether Wood will be able to face Everton will be pleased to know that it is likely he’ll be available.
Daily Mail reporter Craig Hope wrote on Twitter: “Chris Wood should be fine for Newcastle game v Everton on Tuesday & is travelling back to UK.”
Great news for Newcastle on Chris Wood, with Callum Wilson still sidelined
Newcastle desperately need Wood available to face Everton next week.
With Callum Wilson still out injured, the only other option is Dwight Gayle. He is still with the club despite some talk in January of him potentially departing.

Everton have been really poor defending set-pieces this season.
The game is a great opportunity for £25 million signing Wood (Sky Sports) to get off the mark for Newcastle on the third time of asking.
The fact it looks like he’ll be fine to play is a big boost for the Magpies.
