Jose Mourinho wants to return to the Premier League, months after being linked with the Newcastle United job.
According to Sky Sports, the Portuguese manager fancies another spell in England with a third club, having previously managed Chelsea and Manchester United.

But will that club be Newcastle United? Most definitely not.
The Special One played a part in a dramatic summer at St James’ Park. Not only were there rumours of a mega money takeover from the Bin Zayed Group, but there was also talk of a blockbuster managerial appointment.
According to the Mirror, Mourinho and Arsene Wenger were the Bin Zayed Group’s top targets, with talk of Rafa Benitez being let go.

Of course, Benitez was let go, but it was Steve Bruce who came in.
It was a ludicrous summer for Newcastle United fans, and one that ultimately ended in disappointment. And while Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a return to the Premier League, he won’t he anywhere near the north east.

When there was talk of massive investment on its way to St James’ Park, anything seemed possible, even Mourinho. Obviously most wanted Benitez to stay, but the Mourinho rumours combined with the ridiculous Kylian Mbappe odds were too much to resist.
But now the Bin Zayed Group are a distant memory, with constant reminders of what was in the end an awful summer for Newcastle United.
