Tonight is a huge night for Newcastle United, but it is also massively important for Leicester City too.
While Newcastle are dreaming of securing Champions League qualification, Leicester are fighting for their lives.
Results this weekend mean that they can’t be relegated at St James’ Park tonight. Instead, they have a chance to jump out of the bottom three with a win against Eddie Howe‘s side.
The Foxes need at least one win from their final two games to have any chance of survival, with their first opportunity coming tonight.
However, former Newcastle midfielder and BBC pundit Jermaine Jenas does not think Dean Smith’s side have a chance up against the Magpies.

Jenas thinks Leicester have no chance against Newcastle
Jenas appeared on BBC Match Of The Day 2 on Sunday night, where he discussed the fight to avoid relegation to the Championship. Host Mark Chapman admitted that he can’t see Leicester winning against Newcastle, prompting Jenas to give his prediction.
“They [Leicester] are not going to win that game,” he said.
“That’s not the game that they’re going to win. Listen, they’ve got to go for everything, don’t get my wrong.
“But going to St James’ Park when they [Newcastle] just need a point for Champions League. I’d be in shock if they come out with anything from that.”

Not an ideal fixture for the Foxes
With Leicester desperate for three points, they probably could not have picked a worse next game. Away to Newcastle: a team that has only lost twice at St James’ Park all season, a team that seems to thrive during evening kickoffs, and a team that only needs one point to secure Champions League qualification.
In contrast, Leicester arrive on Tyneside massively out of form and lacking confidence, hurtling towards the Championship without a parachute.
They need a savior, but it is difficult to see them finding one tonight. Howe’s side are going to be up for this, just like they were on Thursday night against a dangerous Brighton side.
Leicester are much more vulnerable than Brighton, and could be massively exploited by this rampant Newcastle team that have rarely failed to rise to the occasion this season.
Jenas is very pessimistic about the Foxes’ chances, and it is easy to understand why.
