Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles has not been pictured in the club’s latest batch of training photos.
The 27-year-old cannot be seen, which will be a concern given Newcastle’s next game is less than 48 hours away.

The Magpies take on Watford on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off. Steve Bruce is hoping to record his first win of the season.
He might have to do so without the help of his captain Lascelles.
His absence from training is interesting, and also slightly concerning.

The former Nottingham Forest star played a full 90 minutes last weekend in the 1-1 draw with Leeds.
Bruce is due to speak to the media tomorrow ahead of the clash with the Hornets, and will probably be able to shed some light on the situation there.
Also missing from training was Joe Willock, who had been pictured out and about this week wearing a protective boot.
According to the Daily Mail’s Craig Hope though, that is just a precautionary measure and there is no break.
Other points of interest about Newcastle’s latest training photos are Remi Savage being pictured.
The youngster signed for the club after running down his contract at Liverpool.
Lascelles absence would be a blow
He hasn’t started the season so well, but he was much improved against Leeds last weekend.
Lascelles remains one of Newcastle’s best options and is obviously a leader in the team.

We will soon find out the reason for him not being at training.
Hopefully, there is no worrying injury news in the offing, with Newcastle and Bruce desperate to tighten up at the back.
