Isaac Hayden has spoken of his pride in his Newcastle United teammates, after they lost 1-0 to Chelsea yesterday.
The Magpies’ unbeaten run is over, with Kai Havertz scoring the game’s only goal at Stamford Bridge.

The result was highly controversial.
Newcastle gave a really committed performance, and looked on course to take a point in west London.
But Germany international Havertz produced a moment of brilliant to control a lofted through ball from Jorginho before finishing instantly.
But Havertz should not have even been on the field, after the attacker had caught Dan Burn with an elbow in the first-half.
Somehow, David Coote and the VAR did not feel the challenge met the threshold for a red card.
Newcastle were also denied a clear penalty when Trevoh Chalobah completely madhandled Jacob Murphy in the area.
It was a shambolic display from the officials, and £22,000-a-week star Hayden last night gave a perfect reaction on Twitter.
He wrote: “Some performance from the boys against 12 men today. Proud to be associated with the club is an understatement @NUFC.”
Newcastle should be buoyed by another fantastic performance
The Newcastle players can be proud of the way they played against one of the Premier League’s top teams.
It is a travesty that yesterday ended in defeat for the visitors and especially frustrating that it was Havertz who got the late goal after his earlier challenge.

There were two horrendous decisions yesterday, but the Magpies need to focus on the fact it was another good performance.
Such a display would never have been possible under the previous ownership and management, and the fact we are talking about a robbery is a testament to how far Newcastle have come under Eddie Howe.
