Anthony Munda is yet another promising player in the Newcastle United academy.
Newcastle United have produced several quality footballers from their academy in their history, and a few are knocking on Eddie Howe’s door this summer.
The summer didn’t get off to a great start with a 4-0 defeat at Celtic but Newcastle will head to Asia for a pre-season tour.
Though the priority will be to get the first-team squad ready for the gruelling season to come, there will surely be opportunities for youngsters to impress as well.
Alex Murphy was the only good Newcastle player against Celtic, while young striker Sean Neave was finally handed his debut.
Anthony Munda didn’t get off the bench but will be hoping for a chance to show the manager what he can do.
