Newcastle United have released training pictures ahead of the game against Everton, and it appears that Eddie Howe has called up some youngsters to the senior squad.
Amadou Diallo has never played for the Newcastle first-team, but he can be seen taking part in training as the group prepare to face the Toffees.
He is in the background of picture number four. Captain Jamaal Lascelles is the main man in the photo, but eagle-eyed Toon fans will spot Diallo right at the back wearing a pair of orange boots.
The 20-year-old joined the Magpies last year after being released by West Ham, and has been making a real impression for the Under-21s as of late.
Amadou Diallo in fine form for Newcastle Under 21s
The youngster has done very well in recent weeks. First he got a goal and an assist in the 4-3 win over Norwich – a game which was notable for Ryan Fraser making an appearance. That match was also Harrison Ashby’s first appearance in a Toon shirt, having struggled with injury since arriving in January.

Then Diallo helped himself to another goal and an assist, helping the young Magpies beat Derby 4-1 earlier this week.
It has been a really difficult season for the Under-21s, but back-to-back wins will no doubt have improved the mood behind the scenes.
On a personal level, Diallo will be delighted with his recent form. To get four goal contributions in two games is very impressive, considering he only had one previous to that.
Toon youngsters will have Premier League aspirations

Now he is getting the chance to train with Howe and the first-team, alongside fellow youth players Alex Murphy and Lewis Miley. They will all have aspirations of becoming Premier League players, and it was recently claimed that the club believe Miley can do just that.
Whether Diallo can remains to be seen, but his recent form will certainly have caught Howe’s attention.
While it is unlikely that Diallo and the other Toon youngsters will be involved at Goodison Park, it is great to see them working alongside Newcastle’s senior players.
