Newcastle United are looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Many expected the good times to keep rolling when Newcastle United travelled to Manchester City last weekend but Eddie Howe’s side were handed a humbling defeat.
The Blues raced to a three-goal lead before eventually winning 4-0, a defeat that came as a shock given the differing fortunes of the two teams.
That does at least show just how far Newcastle have come this season but they will want to get back among the points as soon as possible, starting with Nottingham Forest.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture.

Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest team news
Sven Botman wasn’t in Newcastle training ahead of the fixture so it looks like Howe will continue to be without the centre-back for the game.

Forest, meanwhile, are missing striker Taiwo Awoniyi and Carlos Pereira.

Predictions
Newcastle were comfortable 3-1 winners when the two sides met back in November, an unexpected result which came just as Forest were rising to new heights and before the Toon went on their unbeaten run.
That result looked as if it might be the end of Forest’s fantastic form but they have maintained their lofty position in the table in the months since.
As a result, this is a tough match to call and one that could easily finish all square.
Prediction: Newcastle 2-2 Forest.
