Newcastle United can qualify for the Champions League with a win against Everton.
The Magpies know that victory in their final Premier League game of the season will guarantee them a top five finish, which is what is required for Champions League qualification.
Newcastle’s loss against Arsenal means that it has gone down to the final day, but the Magpies’ fate is still in their own hands.
Eddie Howe’s side can still qualify for the Champions League if they fail to beat Everton, but would need results to go their way.
Despite the enormity of the game, Newcastle United vs Everton is not on television in the UK.

Newcastle United have qualified for Europe next season
But no matter what happens on Sunday, Newcastle United will be in Europe next season.
That is because Newcastle won the Carabao Cup back in March, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley.
Not only did they end their trophy drought, but they also won a place in the UEFA Conference League playoff.
European nights will be back at St James’ Park during the 2025/26 season, but it remains to be seen which UEFA tournament Newcastle United will be competing in.
If Newcastle finish in the top five, they will be in the Champions League.
If they finish sixth, they will be in the Europa League. Seventh could also result in Europa League qualification, if Chelsea beat Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final on 28th May.

How Newcastle United missed out on Europe last season
No matter the result against Everton, Newcastle are returning to Europe. The only question mark is which competition they are involved in.
It is a contrast to the 2023/24 season that saw the Magpies miss out on Europe completely.
Eddie Howe’s side managed to finish seventh in the Premier League, which was going to be enough to qualify for the Conference League.
However, Newcastle lost their place in that competition because Manchester United won the FA Cup.
That won them a slot in the Europa League, which meant sixth-placed Chelsea dropped into the Conference League.
As for Newcastle United, they have endured a campaign without European football.
