Newcastle United have won again in the Premier League, beating Aston Villa 1-0 at St. James’ Park.
The Magpies have claimed three more huge points, and put a bit of daylight between themselves and Norwich City and Watford.

Kieran Trippier again stole the headlines.
The England international scored another free-kick, as he did in midweek against Everton.
This one was not as clean as it took a nick off Emi Buendia.
But the result was the same, and Newcastle supporters were sent into a frenzy.
Villa hunted for an equaliser in the second-half, but Newcastle were resolute and stubborn and organised.
Trippier proved to be the match-winner, but Dan Burn had a fantastic performance on his debut and was named man-of-the-match by Sky commentator Gary Neville.
After the game, Alan Shearer reacted to the win on Twitter and praised Burn. He wrote: “Another 3 points for the Toon. G***!!!! MOTM Dan Burn. Well done big man.

Magpies co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi also reacted, writing: “So proud of this team!! Incredible resilience in the end…a well deserved win. Gutted I wasn’t there to celebrate with you all.”
Jamie Reuben said: “What a result – what a performance – what a team. So proud of us.”
Warren Barton said simply: “Love it.”
Former Toon midfielder Rob Lee added: “What a result. Fantastic debut from Dan Burn deserved MOM.”
Newcastle on a roll in the Premier League
Newcastle have arrived in the Premier League, and the new signings have made a world of difference.
Trippier got another goal today, but Burn was a colossus at the back and deserves all the plaudits going his way.

It is just fantastic to see the fight and hunger coursing through the team right now.
Eddie Howe is getting a tune out of everybody, and this mini-run should breed huge confidence now.
