Forest have had an awful start to the Championship season and currently sit rock bottom with just a single point.

The Reds will now be on the lookout for a new manager, while ex-Toon boss Hughton will no doubt be looking for a new job himself.
He lasted just shy of a year at the City Ground; the shortest managerial tenure of his career. It was his first job since getting sacked by Brighton, where he guided the Seagulls to Premier League survival.
But after his disastrous spell in the second tier with Forest, it seems unlikely that Hughton will ever get another chance in the top flight.

He took over a sinking ship back in 2009 after the club were relegated. He steadied things and went on to win the title and promotion. Hughton was then doing okay in the Premier League too, but was inexplicably sacked on December 6th 2010.
He’s a gentleman who did a fantastic job at St James’ Park, but fell victim to the reign of Mike Ashley.
However, Hughton’s time at Forest has been wildly disappointing, and it’s no surprise to see him lose his job so early in the season. But like Newcastle, Forest have their own problems beyond the manager on the touchline…
