Last night was a big one for Newcastle, and not just because Joelinton scored in a 4-1 FA Cup win. There was also movement on social media from a certain Allan Saint-Maximin.
The winger has been out with a hamstring injury since the Southampton win, and we’ve desperately missed his creativity and pace.
He’s been back in training since late last week, and on Tuesday night Saint-Maximin gave us the news we all wanted.
He tweeted: “When you no longer feel any pain.”
Accompanying the tweet was a video, with the summer signing moon-walking around his house to Michael Jackson’s ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’.

Muscle problems are always difficult to come back from, as you never know if it’s truly gone until you step out onto the pitch. Newcastle have had big issues with these kind of injuries this season, and Steve Bruce will be careful when reintroducing Saint-Maximin.
But the 22-year-old’s words and dance moves are certainly encouraging, and surely there’s a good chance he could be involved against Chelsea on Saturday. Even if he’s just on the bench, his presence will give everyone a boost.
Fans are buzzing that he’s no longer in pain from the injury, but more importantly they want to see the moon-walk as his new celebration.
