Newcastle United go in search of 10 wins in a row against Bournemouth this weekend.
The Magpies’ incredible run shows no sign of ending, as Newcastle United beat Wolves 3-0 on Wednesday to make it nine consecutive wins in all competitions.
Eddie Howe will break a club record with victory on Saturday, as he faces his former clubs Bournemouth at St James’ Park.

The Newcastle United manager is yet to win in the league against his old employer, and needs that record to change this weekend if he is to make history. That will be difficult as Andoni Iraola has built a strong side that is unbeaten in their last 10 games.
It should be a thrilling contest, and this is Geordie Boot Boys’ predicted Newcastle United XI to face Bournemouth.
Eddie Howe makes Fabian Schar decision

The big surprise on Wednesday saw Sven Botman start at centre-back ahead of Fabian Schar.
The 33-year-old missed the game through illness, and now might struggle to win his place back in the starting lineup.
Botman deserves to stay in the Newcastle XI, performing at a really high level since his return from injury. He was brilliant against Wolves, as he made his St James’ Park return.
While it is great to see Botman playing so well, it is bad news for Schar. Hopefully he is healthy enough to feature against Bournemouth, but it feels likely that he will be on the bench.
The Newcastle United backline should remain unchanged, including Martin Dubravka. He remains on Tyneside, with Dubravka’s transfer to Al-Shabab now seemingly unlikely.
Alexander Isak aims to continue Newcastle United run
With Newcastle United winning comfortably against Wolves on Wednesday night, Eddie Howe had the luxury of resting some of his top stars during the second half.
He was able to take Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon off early, preserving their fitness ahead of facing the Cherries.
Both players are in incredible form, with Isak going in search of Premier League history. He has now scored in eight consecutive Premier League games, as he chases down Jamie Vardy’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive Premier League games.
Gordon is also on a hot streak, getting a goal or an assist in each of Newcastle’s last nine games. He has eight goals and five assists this season, with his first goal coming in Newcastle’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth back in August.
Predicted XI vs Bournemouth: Dubravka; Livramento, Botman, Burn, Hall; Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
