Declan Rice says £20m Newcastle player won’t be happy with what he’s just seen

The England official YouTube channel posted a video of players trying to guess their teammates from EAFC 24’s newly released stats.

James Maddison, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and Marcus Rashford played a fun game while on England duty where one player would pick up an EA FC stat card and read off a selected stat to see if the others can guess who’s card it is.

It was top quality banter from the four of them with Declan Rice drawing £20million Newcastle striker Callum Wilson from the deck.

Rice and Maddison thought Wilson was hard done by

Kicking off by saying his physical attribute is 76 then naming his pace as 80, Rice then offers up another clue saying: ‘I’ll give you one other clue which isn’t on here. This player is going to be raging they’re a 76 physical.”

Rice is probably spot on but then James Maddison got annoyed on Wilson’s behalf that his pace was only 80, saying: “80 pace? Callum Wilson? Is that right? No, he’s like a runner, To be honest I would never have guessed Callum Wilson.” 

Maddison and Wilson are always pictured together in the England camp as the two are from the same area and have forged a great friendship. It’s no surprise that Maddison would leap to his mate’s defence.

However, both Rice and Maddison definitely have a point, Wilson is surely more physical than that 76 rating suggests and he’s definitely quicker than an 80.

Wilson has every right to feel hard done by with his stats there, but his overall is 82 which isn’t to be sniffed at really.
