More good news – what is going on!
Following five new signings, Newcastle have now confirmed that Karl Darlow and Isaac Hayden have penned new contracts.
The ex-Nottingham Forest glovesman’s new deal takes his stay at St James’ Park to 2025, whereas Hayden has committed himself until 2026. Specifically, it is the latter’s new deal that has got supporters talking with delight.

The Arsenal academy graduate has made no secret of his desire to leave Tyneside in the past. It was nothing personal towards the club, however.
Hayden opened up about his family issues, and how he felt sadness at seeing his young daughter having to make lengthy trips up north to visit him. The 25-year-old handed in a transfer request, and said that he would not be changing his mind on the matter.
However, something seems to have altered the situation. The Englishman has become a key cog under Steve Bruce, making 26 Premier League starts last season.

Despite such difficult personal issues, it is admirable to see the midfielder act so professionally both on and off the pitch. He has never let his head drop or allowed his focus to go astray, and he is being rewarded for his excellent commitment.
Let’s see what the Toon Army are saying about the news…
