Newcastle United have a very presentable chance to claim another three points in the Premier League next time out.
Newcastle United, of course, are sixth in the Premier League but have a game in hand most of the other teams vying for a place in the top five.
The top five teams in the Premier League table could well qualify for the Champions League next season, with English football currently on course to be handed five spots by UEFA.

Sandro Tonali has told the Newcastle squad they must qualify for the Champions League, which would add the icing on the cake this season, one that will already go down in history after the club ended a 70 year-wait to win a major domestic honour by lifting the Carabao Cup.
After returning from the cup celebrations and the international break more generally, the fact Newcastle beat Brentford 2-1 was a huge boost. That was a difficult game to come back to reality for and Eddie Howe’s side did just about enough to edge it.
On Monday night, Newcastle head to relegation-threatened Leicester. The Foxes have lost their last seven home games and look destined for a quick-fire return to the Championship.

With that in mind, pundit Chris Sutton has provided a rather brutal prediction.

Chris Sutton calls for Leicester to be “relegated immediately” ahead of Newcastle United clash
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side were dreadful in their 2-0 loss away at Manchester City and appear to be in genuine freefall right now.
While Newcastle are not above making what should be a routine game difficult for themselves, Sutton believes Monday’s opposition should have “relegated immediately” after the City performance, while predicting a 2-0 win for Newcastle.
“Leicester should have been relegated immediately for what they did at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday,” he wrote on BBC Sport.
“For a team who are desperate for a win, they showed absolutely zero attacking intent even when they went two goals down.
“All they were interested in was building a wall and just stopping Manchester City. I felt sorry for their travelling fans because the team offered no threat whatsoever, and didn’t even try to score.”
Sutton added: “His [Van Nistelrooy’s] team have lost their past seven league games and have not scored in any of them, and it is even longer since they managed a point or a league goal at home.
“That is not going to change here. Newcastle got an important win over Brentford in midweek to show there was no hangover from their Carabao Cup celebrations.”
Latest Newcastle United injury news before Leicester clash
Howe will need to assess a number of key players before Monday’s journey to the King Power Stadium.
Alexander Isak, Joelinton and Anthony Gordon are all injury doubts for Newcastle against Leicester, while Kieran Trippier picked up a knock against Brentford last time out.
Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles and Lewis Hall will definitely not feature, though there is hope Botman can return to action in May.
It would not be a surprise to see Howe name a similar team to the one who beat Brentford, albeit with Callum Wilson potentially replacing Wilson and Joe Willock perhaps coming in for Joelinton.
