Newcastle United’s new away kit will be available for fans to buy on Friday.
The club have already released their home kit for the new season, and it’s much nicer than last season’s. For starters, there’s no garish number four ruining the whole thing.
We’ve already seen the home kit in action, with Newcastle wearing it in every friendly so far, including last night’s 3-2 defeat to Benfica.

Castore have also unveiled the club’s third kit for the new season – the somewhat controversial Saudi-inspired jersey. It’s actually very nice, but understandable why it raises issues surrounding the ownership at St James’ Park.
Now the away kit is on the way, and Castore have announced when supporters will be able to see it.
Castore confirm Newcastle away kit plans
The British sportswear manufacturer have confirmed on their official Instagram account when the Magpies’ away jersey will be available for fans to buy.
It will be released at 10am on Friday July 29th, and can be bought either online or in-store. And based on the snippet provided, it looks exactly like the one that was leaked earlier in the summer.
The navy blue shirt has a gold badge and logo, meaning the Fun88 crest will likely follow the same pattern. There is also gold on the sleeve and a tiny bit on the collar.
Given that Newcastle have two friendlies this weekend (Atalanta on Friday and Bilbao on Saturday), we will surely see the away kit debuted. It just makes sense from a marketing perspective.
Personally, I think it’s quite nice. Castore have created some really nice Newcastle kits for the upcoming season. However, some fans have encountered issues with the brand this summer. There has been a long wait for shirts to be delivered, while some even arrived without a sponsor.
The more Newcastle improve, the more the demand for kits will increase. Castore need to prove they can handle it, otherwise the club may eventually look elsewhere when this contract expires.
