Newcastle United have booked their spot in the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw.

Eddie Howe’s side will continue their defence of the Carabao Cup trophy and Wembley is now back in sight for Newcastle United

On Wednesday night, Newcastle United beat Tottenham to progress into the quarter-finals of the competition.

They are now just three games away from a return to Wembley and, with several Premier League sides falling by the wayside on Wednesday night, the tournament is starting to open up.

A win over Spurs is a statement of intent. Howe has talked up how much this competition means to him and his team certainly proved they feel the same.
