Bruno Guimaraes sends touching four-word message to £40m Newcastle teammate on Instagram

The Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton bromance continues to blossom on Instagram after the Newcastle United and Brazil team mates show the love again.

To think that just over a year ago Newcastle fans were going wild insisting that Eddie Howe buys Lucas Paqueta based mostly on the fact that he’s Bruno Guimaraes‘ best mate. Now we wouldn’t have him at the club in case he came between Bruno and Joelinton – although we’ve seen that they can play nice at Bruno’s wedding.

The Brazilian duo have become fast friends since Bruno’s switch from Lyon last January with Bruno saying recently that Joelinton is part of his family.

Joelinton was “Happy to be back home” before stepping out at SJP

After Joelinton posted on Instagram stating he was “Happy to be back home” it was Bruno’s message that really pulled at the old heart strings.

Bruno responded with: “Te amo irmão” which translates as “I love you brother”. So if you’re sat there with a cup of tea but you’ve ran out of sugar, head over to Joelinton’s Instagram for all the sweetness you could ever need.

The pair once again shared the pitch yesterday as Newcastle demolished Villarreal with Joelinton getting himself on the scoresheet with a sublime goal. The ball came to him just over half-way and he looked to be heading into a fifty-fifty challenge, but J7 just dinked the ball beyond the Villarreal defender and charged into space unleashing a fierce shot from the edge of the area that struck the post and went in.

That goal coming after Joelinton helped himself to an assist by unselfishly laying off the ball in the area for Harvey Barnes to bag his first goal for the club.

Do Joelinton and Bruno start for Newcastle on Saturday?

Will Joelinton and Bruno share the field on Saturday when Aston Villa comes to town? I don’t even think Eddie Howe knows at this point.

Our midfield is so strong that there’s no real wrong answer for Howe, but within the endless combinations there’s very likely a right answer in there, and it’s now Howe’s task to find it.

Joelinton and Bruno play so well together that you’d expect them both to start but then who plays alongside them? Honestly, I’m not even the gaffer and this has be up at night trying to work out.
