Bruno Guimaraes took to Instagram to offer words of support to his former teammate and best friend. Lucas Paqueta after the West Ham star was ruled out with a shoulder injury.

It’s no big secret that Bruno and Paqueta have a close bond from their time playing together at Lyon and with the Brazilian national team. After Guimaraes’ move to Newcastle last January, Paqueta was spotted in and around Newcastle on several occasions as he visited his friend at his new home.
Geordies dreamt of that Guimaraes-Paqueta partnership
Such visits fueled speculation that Newcastle were set to make a bid to bring Paqueta to Tyneside to link up with Guimaraes again, but that speculation turned out to be more fan-driven that based on any actual facts or insider knowledge.
Paqueta did eventually follow Bruno to the Premier League, joining West Ham United where he initially struggled to adapt to the pace of the English game. A shoulder injury forced him to miss several games before the World Cup break.

Since the restart, however, Paqueta has seemingly started to find his feet putting in some good performances for the Hammers which is why it is such a blow that he now faces another spell on the sidelines with another shoulder injury,
It seems that the injury isn’t as bad as first feared, but Hammers fans had their hearts in the mouths when he was forced off during their 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Bruno is relieved that his friend’s injury isn’t as bad as feared
He took to Instagram today to thank everyone for their well wishes and of course, bestie Bruno was straight there with a like and a simple three word message: “Thank god brother”
Newcastle fans were recently left to rue the day that West Ham snapped up Paqueta when he scored his first Hammers goal against the Magpies in the recent 1-1 draw at the London Stadium, cancelling out Callum Wilson’s third-minute strike.
