Bruno Guimaraes has been playing through the pain for Newcastle United for a few games now and there are suggestions he will need surgery on his ankle this summer.
With just one game left to play this season and only pride to play for, the question is whether Eddie Howe will rest his star players and give some of the fringe players a chance on Sunday.
One man who could do with a rest is Bruno Guimaraes who has been playing with an ankle knock for the last few games, but knowing Bruno he would be the first to put his hand up to play on Sunday regardless.
People have been concerned that Bruno will need ankle surgery
Despite his eagerness to play every game, there have been worries that the £40million Brazilian may be doing more harm to his ankle and could need surgery when the season ends.
However, speaking to NUFC TV about his first full season at Newcastle, Guimaraes has put those fears to bed, saying: “For me it was the most difficult season. I have had at least four or five injuries in my ankle, three or four in my hamstring.

“I have seen some people saying that I need surgery in my ankle but I don’t need that.
“My ankle is just fine. It was just weak because of too many kicks but I’m fine. I just need this time to relax, to put my body in the right way.”
Newcastle can still grab third place in the Premier League tomorrow
It sounds very much like he will be in contention for a start on Sunday against Chelsea.
As much as the game is fairly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, there are still a couple of things left to play for: Newcastle could still finish third in the league, and Callum Wilson is just two goals away from breaking the 20 barrier this season.
It’s always good to sign off the season with a win, and having Bruno Guimaraes in the team massively increases the odds of that happening.
