Bruno Guimaraes spreads the love on his Instagram as Newcastle United return home after the warm weather training camp in Dubai.
Following Newcastle‘s win at Nottingham Forest on Friday, the players who weren’t on international duty jetted off to Dubai for a week of warm-weather training.
Actually, that’s not entirely accurate, as Eddie Howe gave the players a couple of days R&R before the hard work started with some players opting to use that time to be with their families. Namely Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton with the former sunning himself in the Maldives and the latter returning to Brazil to see family.
Bruno headed to the Maldives before Dubai
After a couple of days rest the Brazilian contingent linked up with the gang in Dubai as Eddie Howe put the team through their paces in the baking hot desert sun.
With just over a week to go until the next match, the Magpies have left Dubai and returned to the slightly cooler climes of Newcastle to prepare to face Manchester United on 2nd April.

Bruno Guimaraes took to his Instagram reel (screenshotted by @NUFCGallowgate on Twitter) to share an image of himself and Joelinton “and Neil” on the plane with the caption ‘Back to home’.
The now trademark smile of Bruno was in full effect with Joelinton mugging brilliantly for the camera in the seat behind him, and kitman Neil Stoker peering over the seat behind Joelinton.
Newcastle and Bruno: The greatest love story of our time
I love that Bruno calls Newcastle home. Obviously it’s where his actual home is now, but it means so much more to him than that. He’s said in many interviews how he feels at home in the city and has even labeled his son, Matteo, a “Brazilian Geordie”.
The love between Newcastle and Bruno goes both ways, fans absolutely adore the 25-year-old. The love was instant after his signing was announced in January 2021 as Bruno posted a simply brilliant announcement video on his Twitter which referenced the fact that he was heading to Arsenal before Newcastle showed an interest.
That statement alone showed fans how much Bruno wanted to be here and how much he believed in the project on at Newcastle. Bruno bought into it on day one and is now the key man on the pitch for the Magpies as they build on the successes of this season.
We will never get bored of that smile. We’ve got Bruno in the middle….
