Newcastle United have confirmed their squad for their pre-season trip to Asia, and it does not include Alexander Isak.
The group of players travelling to Asia was confirmed on Thursday morning, with Alexander Isak missing.
The 25-year-old is sitting out the pre-season tour of Singapore and South Korea due to a minor thigh injury, having also sat out Newcastle’s defeat to Celtic.
However, Isak is not the only senior Newcastle United player who is not travelling to the Far East.

Martin Dubravka not named in Newcastle United pre-season squad
The Magpies are taking 30 players to Asia for games against Arsenal, Team K League and Tottenham Hotspur.
Isak is not one of those 30 players, and neither is Martin Dubravka.
Newcastle United have named five goalkeepers in their squad, but the 36-year-old is missing out. Amid his absence, Nick Pope, Odysseas Vlachodimos, John Ruddy, Mark Gillespie and Max Thompson are on the plane to Singapore.
Dubravka’s exclusion comes at a time when he is being linked with a move away from St James’ Park. It was reported on Wednesday that Burnley are interested in Dubravka if James Trafford leaves Turf Moor.
It is unclear whether him not travelling is linked to his future, but his absence certainly is curious after he featured during the friendly defeat to Celtic.

Better news as Lewis Hall travels with Newcastle United squad
While Isak and Dubravka are absent, there is a place on the plane for Lewis Hall.
The young left-back has not featured for the Magpies since February, having undergone foot surgery.
But Hall has been stepping up his recovery, and the club state that he could make his return in the games in South Korea.
If he does feature, it will be his first appearance in the number three shirt. Hall is changing his number ahead of the 2025/26 season, with Anthony Elanga claiming his number 20 jersey.
