Alexander Isak has hailed two of his Newcastle United teammates whilst picking his ideal five-a-side team.
The Newcastle striker has been speaking to the Premier League‘s official YouTube channel, and was asked to pick a dream five-a-side team consisting of players he has played with throughout his career.
That meant Isak could pick anyone from the Sweden national team, or from his days at AIK, Borussia Dortmund, Willem II and Real Sociedad.
The 23-year-old could also name some of his current teammates, and that is exactly what he did.
Alexander Isak includes Nick Pope and Kieran Trippier in his team
The first question Isak was asked was who he wanted in goal. He was given a choice of three: Nick Pope, Robin Olsen or Mathew Ryan.

Given those options, it was no surprise to hear Isak go with the player Newcastle bought from Burnley at the start of the season.
“I think he’s [Pope] a really top keeper,” he said.
“He’s really shown that in the Premier League and now also getting the chance to play for England.”
Next up was defence, where the striker had a few more options. He was asked to choose between Diego Llorente, Victor Lindelof, Kieran Trippier, Nacho Monreal or Dan Burn. Isak decided to snub one Newcastle teammate in Burn, but picked the other in Trippier.
On Trippier, Isak said: “It’s nice for offensive players to have defenders that have offensive qualities. I think he has one of the best offensive qualities for his position in this league.”
They were the only Newcastle teammates included in his team. Isak immediately chose David Silva as his midfielder before being given any options, and then decided that he would play upfront himself.
Isak had one last selection, but ignored the chance to have Joelinton as his wildcard in favour of the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Isak’s team: Pope, Trippier, Silva, Isak, Ibrahimovic
It is a strong team that Isak has chosen, and excellent to see it boasts a strong Newcastle core. Pope was the obvious choice in goal given the other options, while Isak is clearly a huge fan of Trippier’s attacking ability.
Isak’s team is impressive, and I’m sure the likes of Bruno Guimaraes won’t begrudge missing out in favour of Premier League legend David Silva.
