Newcastle United ran out 3-2 winners against West Ham United yesterday, and Allan Saint-Maximin once again played a key role.
The number 10 was a nightmare for the visitors to contend with, and it was he that helped the Magpies open the scoring.
It doesn’t go down as his goal, but it was another magnificent dribble from the Frenchman, whose shot was turned in by Issa Diop.

Joelinton then double the hosts’ advantage, tapping in after a horrible mistake from Lukasz Fabianski.
Saint-Maximin went off injured on 64 minutes, and that seemed to help West Ham get back into the game.
They got back level, before Joe Willock popped up to save the day for Newcastle, and claim three massive points.
Analysing on Match of the Day, Alex Scott was keen to praise Saint-Maximin for his contributions.

She said: “He just adds a totally different dimension.
“There’s no sugar-coating it, they play a different style of football when he’s in there.
“What he brings to this side is a fear factor for the opposition defenders, knowing that you’ve got a player who is going to run at you.”
Scott believes the Toon having Saint-Maximin in the side totally changes the way Newcastle operate, and encourages the rest to play on the front foot.
Inspirational Saint-Maximin
At this point it seems Saint-Maximin’s sheer presence is enough to inspire his teammates.

His desire to play on the front foot and always be direct is something that certainly rubs off on those around him.
His style is just amazing to watch, and must be inspirational for other players to be in the midst of.
