Newcastle United fans are starting to become frustrated with Rafa Benitez’s current tactics and claim the manager is not properly utilising star signing Miguel Almiron.
Toon supporters are desperate for Almiron to be played as a number 10, but so far Benitez has preferred Ayoze Perez in the position.
The Paraguayan has instead played eight games for Newcastle on the left-hand side of midfield, and has generally impressed.
His work rate and direct dribbling have galvanised the team in spells, and he has quickly become a fan favourite.

However it’s clear that supporters have still not seen the best of Almiron.

The midfielder has scored no goals so far this season and also has no assists.
Although he’s undeniably been a consistently good performer, he’s not exactly delivered where it counts.
Almiron was bought to be Newcastle’s new number 10, if his creative drought continues, the side will have wasted his talent.
Against Crystal Palace on Saturday, he was one of Newcastle’s best players, and never stopped working for ninety minutes.
But on a day where Perez and Rondon were completely off the pace in front of goal, Newcastle needed Almiron.
However due to his current role in left midfield, Almiron was unable to ever really be a goal threat.
It seems odd that Benitez fought so hard to sign a new number 10, only to play him in another position every game.
Newcastle fans are starting to get restless with the manager, questioning his tactics once again.
